project, as well as a quality working relationship. NIC prides
itself on a strong history of repeat clients who continue to partner with us
based not only on our technical expertise, but also on our
high-level of service and proactive client relationships.
NIC's Corporate headquarters is located in Arizona and serves
clients nationwide. Our management staff works very closely with one another,
sharing resources and talent. Following is a brief introduction to
our team.

Patrick Sobel
President and CEO
Chairman of the Board of Directors |
Under Pat's leadership, NIC has evolved into a multi-million
dollar enterprise. In 1994, Pat started NIC as a single source
provider for complex technology programs. Today the company has
offices in Tempe and Tucson, Arizona and serves the Southwest United States. NIC employs
approximately 120 people. In the Arizona headquarters, the corporation is the largest
single source provider for a technology network infrastructure and
offers one of the largest configuration facilities in the state. Pat
oversees the growth and profitability of NIC and formulates plans
and policies to achieve corporate objectives.
Before starting NIC, Pat was a manager with Compel Corporation
where he introduced standardized design, estimating, operations
management, and marketing to the design and implementation of
enterprise installations.

Stephen Ashworth
Business Development and Management |
With 15 years of experience in the
Information Technology industry, Stephen Ashworth brings a unique
combination of expertise in technology, strategy consulting and
business management to the NIC team.
Most recently, Mr. Ashworth has been an instrumental force in
assisting cities with their development, design and implementation
of security requirements for ACJIS (Arizona Criminal Justice
Information Systems) Connectivity through the Arizona Department of
Public Safety (DPS).
Mr. Ashworth served as senior
consultant and project manager for the City of Avondale on the design and implementation plan
for a wireless build out to provide network connectivity to the
City’s 24 well sites and booster stations.
He has been integral in the ACJIS Design and Implementation
for the cities of Gilbert, Avondale, Surprise,
Cottonwood, Buckeye and Tolleson.
Mr. Ashworth consulted the Town of
Gilbert
on the development of a wireless connectivity solution for the
Town’s patrol vehicles.
As consultant for Cigna Medical Group of Arizona (CMG), Mr. Ashworth
constructed business justification for IT outsourcing, developed
technical specifications and business requirements for a Request for
Proposals, and assisted in response evaluations. Further, Mr.
Ashworth authored comprehensive business plan for a partnership
between Central Arizona College, Central Arizona Valley Institute of
Technology and five High School Districts which detailed technical
plans, objectives, and educational programs for a Distance Learning
program using a Microwave Wireless Network and Polycom.

Justin Burleigh
Operations Manager |
Justin Burleigh joins NIC with 14 years of progressive IT experience
and Six Sigma Champion Certification. Mr. Burleigh manages
overall company process and personnel to ensure
consistent and excellent project delivery.
Prior to working with NIC, Mr.
Burleigh with the Bechtel Corporation providing guidance and
direction for all global corporate systems shared services, managed
department work schedules, projects status and budgets, and
supervised overall corporate systems architecture.
He created comprehensive Six Sigma sustainable process workflows,
documentation and metrics. Mr. Burleigh will use this
experience to bring NIC to the goal of reaching Six Sigma standards.

Adam Petrovsky
Sales and Marketing Director |
Adam Petrovsky returns to NIC as the Sales and Marketing Director
after two years managing an $11M annual sales group. Adam has managed and directed sales instructors, training
over 500 sales executives nationwide. As the Sales and
Marketing Director, Adam will manage our customer out-reach and development activities.
Adam is a successful, innovative, profit-driven management professional with over 18 years of measurable achievements in advanced technology
industries. He is a visionary leader with a track record of superior performance in revenue
productivity, customer relationship management, negotiation, communication and leadership skills to contribute to corporate goals.
Adam holds his Cisco Sales Expert (CSE V3) certification,
Cisco specializations in Advanced Unified Communications, Life Cycle Services, Advanced Routing and Switching, Advanced Wireless LAN, Advanced Security
and has completed the Management-In-Action Program(MIAP)

Ronda Graves
Project Management Operations Manager |
As the PMO Manager, Ronda Graves is responsible for ensuring
the success of Customer projects. Her responsibilities include
ensuring that her team provides the
up-most in customer satisfaction, maintains project budgets, and
completes jobs on schedule. Ms. Graves oversees the daily
activities of the Project Managers and Administrators.

David Phillips
Integration Services Manager |
David Phillips began working at NIC in 2004. As the Manager of
Integrated Services, Mr. Phillips coordinates a group of Microsoft and
CISCO certified engineers who manage the design and implementation of
Microsoft and CISCO technologies. He oversees network designs, customer
estimates and statements of work. Mr. Phillips is responsible for
assigning resources to ensure timely and successful implementations at
customer locations. As a CISCO Certified Inter-network Expert (CCIE),
Mr. Phillips is widely experienced in LAN/WAN and IP Telephony systems.
Before coming to NIC, Mr. Phillips worked as a Sr. Network Engineer
for Avnet Inc. With Avnet he designed and implemented network
management tools for monitoring customer networks, resolved
connectivity issues for customer networks and maintained a national
lab. Before Avnet, Mr. Phillips spent the prior 6 years working with
CISCO Systems designing cost-effective inter-networks per product
and customer specifications.
Mr. Phillips received his Master of Computer Sciences degree from
Arizona State University in 1995. Additionally, Mr. Phillips is a Cisco
Certified Inter-network Expert (CCIE#1338) and is certified in Remote
Access Technologies. He has programming experience in C, PASCAL, Perl,
and HTML.

Rodney Waclaw
Wireless Services and Physical Security Systems Manager |
Rodney Waclaw
provides overall operations management direction for NIC’s
Wireless Services Group (WSG) and the Physical Security Group (PSG). He is responsible for designing
and estimating opportunities within the WSG and oversees design
and estimation for the PSG. Mr. Waclaw
establishes operations service objectives, policies, procedures
and performance standards for wireless and physical security projects.
Before joining NIC, Mr. Waclaw worked for Stewart Electric and
Communications as their Executive Directors of Business Development,
Systems Technology, and RF & Field Operations. In these positions Mr. Waclaw was in charge of new business
opportunities, strategic planning, design, estimating, project
management, and general operationsin Systems Technology, RF, and Wireless Services
for multiple cellular service providers through out the US Mid- and
Southwest.
Following 9/11/2001, Mr. Waclaw was part of an elite team that was
asked to form the Disaster Recovery Team for the World Trade Center.
As a “Team Leader” for wireless communications disaster recovery,
Mr. Waclaw helped bring communication links back online for New York
City.
Mr. Waclaw received his advanced education through the United
States Air Force Training, Community College of the Air Force in
Communications Technology. Additionally, Mr. Waclaw has earned the
following certifications:

Lon Clearwater
Special Systems Services Manager |
Lon Clearwater supervises the Special Systems Department of NIC comprised of NIC’s Cabling,
Audio/Visual and CAD departments. Working both in the field, and in the office, Mr.
Clearwater
is intimately involved with projects from estimate creation to installation. He is responsible
for managing department estimators and installers to ensure projects are completes as projected.
Mr. Clearwater has extensive experience in low voltage cabling
topologies, including data, voice, video, audio and security. Prior
to taking the role as Special Systems Manager, Mr. Clearwater was a
project manager at NIC managing some of our most complex projects.
